Mi familia

I thought I would explain my family a little bit.

My mom. She is a single mom and I don't have a dad. But, my grandpa is like having 100 dads, so I am real happy I have him. She is really nice and lets me do WHATEVER I want.

I will describe the rest of my brothers and sister according to their ages.

First is Max, who is a red and white greyhound. He raced a lot and was very fast and good. He is now 11 years old. I love to lick the inside of his mouth. He is in charge. He is kind of grumpy these days, especially when my sister and I leap over his head repeatedly. He is kinda sore and has to take medicine for his old bones.

Next is Romeo, the original baby. He is a brindle Afghan Hound. He is real skinny. He is kinda frail looking and shakes when he sits down. His kidneys don't work so good. That's what mommy says. He likes to sit with mommy on the couch. He is always pretending to hate me, but all I have to do is hit him with my big paw and he will play with me. He is more bark than bite. Oh, he's 9.

Third is Jethro, a black greyhound. He raced three times only. He is real scared of loud noises, especially thunderbooms. He has to carry around a baby in his mouth all the time cuz it soothes him. His favorite is Lambie. Lambie is 4 years old, but Jethro is 8. Jethro LOVES to eat.

Lastly is Desiree. She is a tiny baby girl and will cry if you look at her wrong even if she makes me cry. She has very sharp teeth and my nose is very sore because of her. She likes to chase me in the yard now that she's bigger. Her face is very dark and so are her paws. She knows how to sit and down. That's all!!

And my grandpa is the best, like I said. I love him more than any of the above creatures. He gives me treats and lets me hold his hand in my mouth, even if my mom says not to let me. I just want to hold on to him so he won't leave!!

SA Show

My mom took me to a rock show starring me. It was a weekend or two ago. I won some points towards being a rock star, a "champion".

My friends and family who visited me were:

Grandpa, whom I love the mostest

Brenda, who helped with my existence and has my daddy
Deanne, who has my dog mommy
Lee, who belongs to Deanne
Kathi, who likes me
The Mathis crew: Monica, Paul, David, Linda

I got Best of Winners 3 out of 4 days and Winners Dog 1 day. My mommy say I'm always a winner.

I was very tired by day 4. My friend gave my mom some liver to give me. It was so yummy.

Mon, Jun28th

Early this morning, I sneaked into mommy's room and woke her up by breathing my hot breath in her face. Then I took the treat bag off her dresser and helped myself. I left some kibble on the floor so she could trace my steps and find me if she needed. I also tried to destroy the toilet paper roll but couldn't get to it so I just left little strips of paper in the bathroom.

There was a thunderstorm this evening. Desiree and I played outside during the storm. We didn't want to come in but mommy wanted us to get out of the rain. I helped mommy give Jethro a Xanax because he is very scared of the "booms".

Desiree and I played ALL evening. Mommy tried to stop us but we were very tenacious and kept on going.

I am very tired now. Trying to get the fan to blow on my big face.

Sunday June 27

Busy day today. Dumped bag of salmon chewy treats when I tried to get just one out of the bag that was on the counter. Boo. Attempted to smother Desiree with "love". Licked Jethro's private part. Licked Max's mouth. Romeo growled at me after I dared to touch him with my lovely paw.

Got some hardcore napping in as well. I napped: in the bathroom, in the hall, by mommy when she was on the computer, in the middle of the living room floor, in the kitchen when mommy was cooking and against the front door (see pic).

Ignored mommy as best as I could...hard fight due to those salmon chewy chews.

It is very hot here. My fur is very thick. I need to nap more.
